Sister Pee Wee Day
For over 50 years, Sister Pee Wee has been serving delicious soul food in San Diego. Due to health concerns, she was forced to close down her restaurant. This past Saturday, the Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation organized an event gathering the community to thank Sister Pee Wee for her years of service.
Sister Pee Wee was given the inaugural "Good Neighbor" award from the LHNF, for her years of service in the community.
San Diego Counclimember, David Alvarez and San Diego Mayor, Kevin Faulconer recognized Sister Pee Wee, by proclaiming October 28th, 2017 Sister Pee Wee Day!
