Robert Barrientos Day
Yesterday, we celebrated Robert Barrientos Day in Escondido! In 12 years, Robert has transformed one of Escondido's toughest neighborhoods and made it a peaceful place to live.
Ed Gallo presented Robert with a proclamation announcing June 23rd, Robert Barrientos Day. We also presented Robert with the Good Neighbor Award!
As the San Diego Union Tribune said, "The area is now a community in the truest sense of the word. People watch out for one another and, if there is a problem, they come to Robert with their concerns. He takes care of it."
