Crawford High School cheerleading program was discontinued two years ago, when their wasn't enough interest from the girls. They had no official cheerleading coach and not enough funds to keep it going, so their team folded.
Last year over a dozen girls came joined, hoping to revive the program and bring much needed team sprit to the school. The problem, the girls didn't have uniforms, hair ties or anything else signifying they were a team.
They dug up a few old uniforms, but were made fun of by other schools for not truly looking like a team. The Larry Himmel Neighborhood Foundation recently went out to Crawford to meet the girls and see how they could help!
